Atmintinė teikiantiems paraiškas

Pateikdami paraišką, autoriai turi patvirtinti, jog sutinka su visais žemiau išvardintais reikalavimais. Priešingu atveju paraiškos gali būti atmestos.
  • Straipsnis iki šiol nebuvo publikuotas ir nėra pateiktas kitiems žurnalams (arba paaiškinimai šia tema pateikiami Komentaruose redaktoriui).
  • Straipsnio tekstas pateikiamas Open Office, Microsoft Word arba RTF dokumentų formate.
  • Kur įmanoma, pateikiamos nuorodos į Interneto šaltinius; jus turi būti teisingos, jas galima aktyvuoti.
  • Tekstas pateikiamas 12 dydžio šriftu. Kur reikalinga, akcentavimui naudojamas kursyvas, o ne pabrauktas tekstas (kadangi pabrauktas tekstas reiškia nuorodą į internetinius šaltinius). Visos iliustracijos, paveikslai ir lentelės tekste pateikiamos atitinkamose vietose, o ne straipsnio gale.
  • Straipsnio stilius ir bibliografinės nuorodos tenkina reikalavimus, išdėstytus Reikalavimai autoriams.

Guidelines on manuscripts to the Lithuanian Journal of Statistics

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts of their papers to the Lithuanian Journal of Statistics in Lithuanian or English  by  e-mail to the address statdarbai@vgtu.lt  The text has to be edited and submitted in a machine-readable form in Word. The text has to be written in Times New Roman style size 10. The Paper Example is presentedThe length of the paper may be up to 10 pages size A4. An alternative template in Latex will be prepared later. If the author is willing to submit a paper in Latex please contact the editors by the same e-mail address.

The papers submitted should be not published anywhere else or submitted to  any other editorial board. The author should save the submitted version of his/her paper and be responsible for its safety. Any article submitted should pass through the reviewing procedure by anonymous recension. Afterwards the editorial board makes the final decision on the publication of the paper.

GUIDELINES ON MANUSCRIPTS (lithuanian)

I. Submitted matter. Each paper should include the following:

-          title,

-          title, name and surname of the author with the footnote containing  institution, mail address, telephone and e-mail address for contacts,

-          abstract in the language of the paper,

-          3-5 keywords in the language of the paper.

II. Contents of the paper. The paper should consist of the sections typical of the scientific paper. The paper should begin with the introduction in which the aim of the research is defined, object of the study is highlighted, the literature in the field of research is overviewed, and the methods used are described: methodology for practical work and problems as well as arguments for novelty of their solution and proofs  for theoretical work. The paper is concluded  with the summation of the reserach results, conclusions and the list of references.

III. The style of the manuscript should satisfy the usual requirements to the scientific papers and should have the following:

- the titles of the sections should be written in capital letters, numbered and centered,

- all the abbreviations should be unscrambled and used only after that,

- the words of languages  other  than the main language of the paper should be written in italics   with the translation into the main language of the paper,

- the tables and figures should be numbered and have the titles,

- the displayed formulae should be numbered on the right-hand side.

IV. Abstract. The paper should have comprehensive abstracts in Lithuanian and English. If the author does not know Lithuanian, then he/she should present the abstract and keywords  only in English, and they will be translated into Lithuanian by Editors. The abstract should be without formulae, footnotes, and citing.

V. References should be listed in alfabetic order by the author and chronologically for each author and be numbered. They should have full information needed for the reader. The title of the book or journal should be written in italics. The refernce is cited indicating its number in the square brackets, like this [2]. The example of the list of references includes the  article in the journal, a book and an article in the collection of papers:
