For a Special Volume of the ‘Knygotyra’ (Eng. Book Science) International Scholarly Journal of Vilnius University
The volume is dedicated to the topic of egodocuments.

Deadline for submitting scholarly articles in Lithuanian and English: 1 December 2025
The special volume 86 will be published in July 2026
Topics of the special volume include:
Discussion of the concept, typology, genres, and narratives of egodocuments in the context of the following research aspects in any historical period: development of the manuscript, the print and the digital media, publishing and circulation of the written word in society, egodocumentary heritage and its expression, migration of narratives in the media, creative writing and digital storytelling, inclusive publishing, artificial (generative) intelligence, information and communication of cultural heritage, etcetera.
Submission guidelines:
Structure. The article should include the elements required in any research publication: the goal and objectives of research, description of theoretical framework and methodology, historiography of the problem or earlier research review, results of research, discussion, conclusions, and lists of references and sources.
The article should be appr. 22-24 typed pages (1,5 lines spacing, or appr. 40 000 characters with space). The summary of the article (300–500 words) and key words in English must be presented at the beginning of the article. The notes and references to the text are given in footnotes. References in Knygotyra should meet the requirements of the international standard ISO 690:1987 (E) Documents. Bibliographic references. Contents, format, and structure
Language. English, Lithuanian.
Deadlines. If you are willing to submit the article, please let us know till June 15. Knygotyra uses double-blind review, which is time absorbing. That is why we ask Authors to submit articles till December 1.
