Focus and scope. Transformations in Business and Economics is an international journal of scholarly papers that publishes original scholarly articles devoted to the most important problems in the field of Economics and Management. The main focus of TIBE is high-quality research in the ever-expanding area of Development Economics in the field of Social Sciences and related disciplines. The journal welcomes papers that embrace interdisciplinary and multi-faceted approaches to economic theory, business management, and marketing, as well as general transformations in the economic, social-cultural, ecological, technological, competitive, demographic, and political-legal environment. Therefore, the journal expects original and authentic manuscripts, which are based on fact-centered research to establish economic and business management regularities, where the theory is motivated by substantiated empirical findings, where the disciplined application of economic principles is used to explain and predict the real-world behavior and transformations of organizations, markets, and industries.
The journal also publishes book and conference reviews, as well as the chronicle of academic life. The submissions are subject to double-blind peer review by two scholars.
The journal was founded in 2001.
