The introduction outlines the theme of the conference and the conditions under which the volume emerged against the backdrop of the geopolitical changes of recent years. The key concepts of “transformation” and “narrative” are examined in their interdisciplinary dimensions. Finally, the five sections and the individual contributions are briefly introduced.
